Maine sightseeing in London on a rest day from PAL
Charmaine “Maine” Elima is really where her heart is right now – travelling that is . After giving beauty pageants a good try in 2013, she took the opportunity of joining the job pooling of Philippine Airlines among the Bb. Pilipinas Gold Official Candidates and was effectively recruited by the nation’s flag carrier. From there, she underwent the intensive training and finished Valedictorian in her class. As a result, she is now flying the international long-haul flights and has already visited Vancouver and London as a result, apart from the usual Asian routes. And as you can see in the photos here, the former KF-trained beauty is quite happy and fulfilled.

I am now reminded of the story her Vancouver-based Uncle Larry shared a couple of days back. During their sightseeing visit to English Bay, a female TV & Broadcasting student at the British Columbia Institute of Technology approached the beautiful Maine if she is cool with appearing in a 20-second video for her school project. The former explained that she looked like a beauty queen (not knowing that she really is) and loved her smile. To make the long story short, the quick shoot took place. Nice little anecdote, huh?
Anyways, I’m happy that Maine is happy. Let’s hope she has not totally closed her doors on joining another beauty competition. After all, she still has a few good years to seriously mull about it. 😉
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
