Outside Metro Manila which has a total of fourteen (14) representatives, Central Luzon (comprised of seven provinces indicated in the map on the left) has the biggest contingent in Bb. Pilipinas 2014, numbering nine (9) as follows:
12 Sarah Jireh Asido from Balagtas, Bulacan
14 Emma Tiglao from Mabalacat City, Pampanga
20 Kenneth Santiago from San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija
21 Racquel Kabigting from Mariveles, Bataan
29 Krischelle KC Halili from Tarlac City, Tarlac
32 Jeslyn Santos from Hagonoy, Bulacan
36 Krystal Alonday from Paombong, Bulacan
38 Janine Asanion from San Marcelino, Zambales
40 Vessica Sambo from Malolos City, Bulacan
So how are the nine (9) lovelies doing in the competition?
As far as I know, the sole Kapampangam entry, Emma Tiglao, has been upping the ante in almost every pre-pageant activity. She knows how to work it well and to the delight of many spectators and followers alike.
Racquel Kabigting’s enviable and glamazonic height has been the subject of a good number of positive comments. And if she could only turn that advantage to her favor all the time, then she might just be able to find herself doing better than personally expected.
Kenneth Santiago, the 2nd tallest, is also being favorably noticed. While the running reviews are mixed, there is still a decent chance of pulling a surprise. She just needs to stand out with that extra degree of fierceness.
Between Janine Asanion and KC Halili, my gut feel is that the former has been getting the edge of late. But that’s not saying a lot, to be honest. Both ladies seem to be neither here nor there. People tend to veer more towards the preferred candidates. I hope they do something to accelerate their beautiful presence.

Finally, we go to my beloved Bulakenyas – all four (4) of them. I reckon that Sarah, Jeslyn, Krystal and Vessica are doing their best despite being outpowered by the prime picks. But are they doing enough to collectively or individually upset the field? In my mind, Binibini 40 is leading the quartet. She is getting her fair share of notices from pageant enthusiasts. I hope I can say the same to the remaining three. All is not lost, however. Between now and March 30, they can still squeeze every ounce of competitiveness in them to shine. Who knows, a spot might be reserved for one of them.
In summary, I may not be over the moon in anticipation of a major victory for Central Luzon at the moment. But I am always a sucker for pleasant surprises. Serendipity is not my favorite English word for nothing. 😉
RAQUEL AND EMMA FOR JAG JEANS.
Emma and Racquel and mga gusto dito. Sana manalo si Emma, di man siya popular, pero tama si Sir Norman, wagas ang mga performances nya sa mga pre pageants.
Is there any reason why Kenneth is not getting the attention I think she deserves? At least based on these pics, she looks a lot better than Emma but the latter seems to have more fans here.
I’d go for PAMPANGA’S BEST, EMMA TIGLAO!
hi Sir Norman, kapampangan po ang mga taga Tarlac, not all pero majority ay kapampangan so kapampangan din si KC.
Noted, Sophie. 😉
They speak Kapampangan but they are from Tarlac just like the other residents of Provinces of Bulacan, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, esp. barangays near to Pampanga.
I’ve always loved Emma… She’s got the body, the face, the confidence, the walk and more! On my list, I have her as a top 15 finalist and a potential runner up. Luckily, she has all the time in the world to prepare again if she doesn’t win this year. Best of luck, Emma! 🙂
On the images above, it’s EMMA MARY TIGLAO for me. I really like her. Eversince I first read her feature here, see LINK as proof, I have very high expectation from her and wished that she is aged 20 just like my Queen Yvethe Marie. But she fell one year short so I am putting her as one of my contenders for BbP1ru for now.
To me, age will play a vital role. I do not consider 19 as young because if you have the armour to win and age has been approved by the stars, your chances of winning is HIGH! My 2-cent.

Your comment got my attention because of two reasons: one – I didn’t expect what you wrote here in this topic; and two – you seem to be rooting for Queen Yvethe Marie Avisado Santiago. Since I find your name new to my eyes, I have to check you out immedeiately and found your very first comment on the photo-link below:
Based on most comments, readers then were eyeing for the wrong candidates. Hopefully my presence could bring more challenge to them so that they could see the things I only could see. LOL. 😆
Welcome back! 😉
Thanks for sharing this, Dex.
You are always welcome, Josh. So it was you that was carrying a RED backpack, aye?!? At least carrying RED was your way of supporting our mighty Queen and I just loved that! Click on my name and you’ll see my full support!!! 😉
THANKS MR. DEX. IT HAS BEEN A YEAR BEFORE FINALLY MAKING UP A NEW COMMENT HERE. I JUST WANNA SHOW MY SUPPORT FOR YVETHE. SHE REALLY IS THE ONE. BUT TO TELL YOU HONESTLY, YVETHE ISN’T MY TOP CHOICE FOR THE MUP CROWN. IT’S KRIS WHOM I AM ROOTING TO. PERO KAILANGAN KO TALAGA ISUKO ANG LABAN NA’TO KAY YVETHE. FEELING SAD DAHIL ALAM KONG SI YVETHE ANG DESTINED THIS YEAR. KRIS IS UNDER KF CAMP. AT ALAM KONG MGA ALAGA NI MAMA JONAS ANG BET NI MADAME. AND ASIDE FROM THAT, HER (YVETHE) FACE IS REALLY SCREAMING OUT THE STANDARDS OF MUO. PATI NA MGA CREDENTIALS NIYA..
WOW!!! Napataba na naman ang puso ko. Maraming salamat, COL!
Well, you don’t have to worry a bit about Kris Tiffany. She is my rightful winner for Binibining Pilipinas International 2014. I have high hopes that she could give us a back-to-back win of the Miss International title and that would be a record considering that the Japanese organization will be doing it for the first time. Cheers!
Akala ko Kung ano na ang napa taba, Dexter!
LOL, Mitch! It can mean flattery and happiness and I go for both when I say “napataba!” 😉
BTW, I didn’t respond to your comment on the other thread because I simply do not want to make further comments. It was not bashing at all. My purest intention was to warn. Nothing more! Some people are gifted to see and feel more what normal eyes can see, if I may add. Case closed. 😉
What a moment, right?
Thank you for that, I sent the link to Yvethe. You are just awesome, Dex.
Thank you, Josh! Mabuhay ng Reynang Pinakamamahal!
Emma’s cat walk is fabolous…but ung communication nya ung problema ng kaunti…
Just based on these pics ( have not seen the videos), Kenneth is my number one followed by Vessica and then Jeslyn.’
I’m not a fan of Emma’s
I agree with you tito Norms, it’s Emma who leads this group. She has the beauty, height and the moves. If the judges are looking for a younger representative then Emma is definitetly the girl!
Watch out for Emma… really have this feeling that she will rock the stage come coronation night on the 30th…
