Those gowns of blue shades are the best.
Metallic and understated – that’s the fashion trend from Oscars 2014. Do we see this trend in beauty pageants? I think Prada’s gown for Lupita is lovely and will look ethereal on a beauty queen. I love that headband. Charlize’s Dior gown is to die for. Very queenly. I find that most gowns worn these days on the red carpet are quite safe and predictable. Stunning yes but mostly forgettable.
You didn’t like Jen Lawrence’ gown, Normz? I actually thought it was one of the classy ones. 🙂 I like your choices, too! Especially Charlize and Amy.
The peplum on the sides of Jennifer’s gown was a bit of a turn-off, but it was good even if she slipped on the red carpet upon arrival. 😉
Haha yeah, and the funny thing is she always slips at the Oscars. :))

penelope’s gown is ugly. and emma watson’s boring. there are better gowns 😀
Best gown goes to Lupita Nyong’o, imo, tired of the serpentina style, she’s a stand out and wore the gown elegantly.
