  1. These are my early 10 Topnotchers based on what I see on their ecovideo presentations, current photo shoots, and their written opinions about ‘Water’ that can be seen in ME website.

    (in random order)

    1. Costa Rica
    2. England
    3. Serbia
    4. Mexico
    5. Venezuela
    6. Philippines
    7. Turkey
    8. Thailand
    9. Brazil
    10. Bosnia

(10 Dark Horses): Norway, Germany, Northern Ireland, Korea, Sweden, Slovak Rep, Poland, India, Indonesia, and Kosovo.

  2. Whilst writing I got confused if I clicked on the right post because of the first comment at the very bottom. Argh!

I second everything that “sleuth” had written here. Russia’s active presence alone is solid proof to that invalid accusation. And I guess GlobalBeauties.com has dropped ME for they are threatened that the Philippines will rule the COUNTRY OF THE YEAR always. At this point in time, the Philippines is enjoying its NUMBER ONE position with a huge lead over their pets. All they can do now is bark, bark and bark. And they won’t be able to topple the truest powerhouse of worldclass beauties.

Well, based on the number, it signifies that beauty organizations nowadays prefer joining pageants with good causes. The pioneer of beauty pageants (MW) is still leading but Miss Earth is definitely at #2 position beating the glamourous MU. Envious people and institutions will claim that the franchise price is low but that’s pure b$llshit.

Here are my favourites so far…

    Albania
    Austria
    Brazil
    Germany
    India
    Japan
    Korea
    Mexico
    Philippines
    Russia
    Serbia
    Spain
    Thailand
    Turkey
    Ukraine
    Venezuela

I guess Europe is the power continent in this edition. In as much as I want to add a black candidate in my list, no one sparks amongst them at this time. Maybe later…

  3. Wow 88 delegates, 88 countries paid for their franchise fees.

    • It shows that 1. nobody believed that russian reporter and the bribery scandal, 2. GB has lost its influence in the pageant world – their precious Miss TQI went down while Miss Earth is going up, showing that Miss Earth can stand on its own, and 3. a lavish stage and grand production is not enough to be considered a Grandslam, but through the pageant’s advocacy, dedication, branding, and treatment of the delegates what makes the pageant a true Grandslam

  5. rumors that Bonaire is on her way and might arrive the next day so that makes it 89. No word yet if Peru will arrive.

Either way be it 89 or 90, Miss Earth is the 2nd biggest pageant this year.

  6. Norman, Curacao is already present and was on the Press Presentation. So that makes 88 Earth Warriors (matching the record turnout in 2008.

  7. Alyz Heinrich is a diva silently waiting for her moment! And yes Ashanti Mbanga is an african goddess!

    • Not yet. It just so happened that in the last photo grid, there were only 7 girls left to show. Venezuela landed on that bigger frame automatically. I guess its just an app thing since I was kinda sleepy when posting the same. 😉

  8. CORRECTION:

    OFFICIAL RESULTS:

    5TH RU : CZECH REPUBLIC
    4TH RU : PHILIPPINES
    3RD RU : MEXICO
    2ND RU : BRAZIL
    1ST RU : INDONESIA
    MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2013 : VENEZUELA

    • Minus Belgium and Dominican Republic, I thought PHILIPPINES could have been the winner…. The top 3 are not cutie pies….
