And Osmel Sousa does it again!
His national reps for 2013 have not even started their respective quests for the international crowns and yet, the batch for 2014’s titles have already been elected and crowned.
Migbelis Castellanos of Costa Oriental has effectively succeeded Maria Gabriela Isler and will now have at least one year to prepare for Miss Universe 2014.
Michelle Bertolini of Guarico, on the other hand, has now taken over the glamazonic Elian Herrera even if Miss International 2014 is still a far away future memory for everyone.
And Stephanie de Zorzi of Aragua is now Venezuela’s entry to Miss Earth 2014, with Alyz Heinrich still looking forward to packing her luggage for Miss Earth 2013 here in Manila.
And this leads me into thinking, does having such a very long preparation for overseas assignments really augur well for the individual disposition of the winners? I know that their ‘transformations’ could take a long time to heal, but certainly not 365 days or more to be exact. The discipline these ladies go through must be so exacting to the point of throwing off the weak-willed ones. Thankfully, Osmel has not had prodigal wards in his camp. He must really be a nurturing mother hen no small chicks would dare cross or disobey. 😉
Anyways, congratulations are in order for Migbelis, Michelle and Stephanie! 🙂
