Megan Young, you are our Miss World 2013.
Whatever happens tonight, there is no other winner in our eyes.
Mabuhay ka! 😀
Tonight, my fervent wish is for the stars to align in favor of our Megan Young. The super elusive Miss World crown is so close and within reach. If fate so decides that the Philippines finally makes it to the pageant’s long list of winners, then the achievement will mean more than just a blue diadem. It will symbolize the realization of a lifelong dream of a country in a beauty competition that has not formally placed its indelible seal of approval yet on the world-class Filipina.
It’s NOW or (almost) never.
Best of luck, Megan Young!
Do you like her hairstyle for tonight?
I do. 😉
In tonight’s Miss World 2013 finals, our Megan Young will perform a one-minute solo during the Dances of the World segment. In yesterday’s final rehearsals, her traditional costume for the same was already revealed. Designer is Bing Cristobal.
FYI, she will be right in the middle. Once she starts dancing the Singkil, all lights will dim onstage with the spotlight on her every move and sway. While watching the technical run, mentor Jonas Gaffud posted that he got goosebumps all over.
Are you all excited? I know I am. 😉
In tonight’s Miss World 2013 finals, some of the loudest cheers will come from the Philippine contingent. Practically all of these individuals shelled out their own money for airfare and accomodations in Bali. And we all know the amount involved is not peanuts. Add to that the expenses for small Philippine flags, the real Philippine flag, t-shirts and tarpaulins and you will definitely find the burning love and support for our Megan.
For the rest of us here in Manila, let’s keep the fire alive by continuously voting for our bet and watching the coronation night with prayers in our heart so that Miss Philippines will do everything to perfection.
Go Go Go, Megan!!! 😀
Funny how intrigues fly. And within IB Times itself, but a different edition.
Just when International Business Times UK Edition posted a controversial article putting down our Miss World 2013 bet, here comes its Australian edition coming up with a rosy article supporting Megan for the Win!
Internal warfare? Clash of opinions? Whatever it is, Megan is in it to win it.
By the way, my blood pressure has normalized. And I have to thank our reader Dexter for sending me the article above. Thanks, dear! 😉
