  1. CONGRATS to both Mary-Elizabeth and Christian!

Norman, interesting to note that both RUSSIA and SOUTH AFRICA ( both will be competing in Moscow ) did not make the cut while BELGIUM ( also going to Moscow & under everybody’s radar ) made it to the semis! Her confidence level must have increased tenfold as she heads for the Miss UNIVERSE Pageant!

Other noticeable non-qualifyers are: VENEZUELA, JAPAN ( Megan’s sweet & cute roommate ), CHINA and UKRAINE!

    • I agree. Belgium surprised me in the Top 20. Russia will fare better in MU for sure. I just don’t know with South Africa because she lacks the spark.

  2. Hey Norm! I’m South African too, Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal! Congratulation to my home girl!

  3. Out of topic, to whom is Jonas Gaffud addressing this message on his instagram account… ” Megan Young, ang Masunuring bata! She rarely went out of the public without our approval. Maraming mararating ang taong masunurin.” To which someone commented that he may be pertaining to Ariella Arida as she was always seen going out on concerts and places giving the public more chance to bash how she looks and presents herself.

  4. I missed Ghana in my radar! LOL. I got the 1st 2 right but not the 3rd one. I’m very happy for you Tita Norms that you have an international following. It just shows that your blogging efforts are also internationally appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you again for all your efforts. God bless you!

  5. Congratulations, amazing Winners!

I really can’t believe how I missed out France when her face is the only one that can compete with Megan’s. I wasn’t surprised of Ghana being on the top because she was my second princess but forced Indonesia in based on tradition. But even if I have placed her in my prediction, I would still be out of the contest. My golly, Brazil was so disappointing. I was kind of confident that she would be the best first princess after reading the bio provided by her organization. It stated there that she speaks English but I only heard her say a few — very far from what I had expected.

Norman, if your contest included the Continental Beauties, I’m sure I have a big chance of winning something because only Ukraine would be wrong. If Brazil was disappointing, Ukraine was double the dose.

If Christian does not contact you, you know how to reach me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. Hi Norman,
Been following you a year or two… Your blog was indeed in my system. I do appreciate your effort and passion in doing this… Really so much happy for megan ‘a winning ms world and to you who makes her winning a more memorable and special… Love you Norman!

  7. side note: Madame C also shared to KORINA in the interview that as soon as megan arrived in Bali and went to the MW headquarters there, the MWO judges, unknowingly to Megan, were completely blown way by our Megan’s beauty, that made them remark afterwards (pointing to megan), “She’s the One!!” oh! The interview was so bitin due to the show’s time constraint. Can’t wait for Madame C arrival here so the press can engage her in a lengthy free-wheeling conversation.

  8. Congrats to the winners, Sir Norman! Excited for your similar contest about MU next month. Anyway, did u listen to KORINA Sanchez’s show in DZMM a while ago. Se interviewed Cory Quirino via phone patch. Madame Cory relayed the good news that Megan is coming home 8 days from now, if plans won’t miscarry. Megan has to attend press tour and a charity event in London this week. Sir N, 8 days from now is Oct 8, an Obama’s state visit in our country is on Oct11-12. Is there a window of possibility our world class beauty be invited by our govt to be a guest in malacanang palace? Thanks hehe I’m so thinking way way advance haha

    • Megan will definitely go to Malacanang Palace for a well-deserved courtesy call. I’m just not sure if it will be timed with Obama’s visit for security reasons. ๐Ÿ˜‰
