Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2013 Cindy Miranda must be heaving a sigh of relief. Now that Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 has been green-lighted for an October 10 finals in China, she is deep in training with Aces & Queens together with Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ara Arida.
Cindy should be leaving for Mainland China later this month, with a send-off possibly next week. The competition was initially scheduled for Lhasa, Tibet, but major changes happened in the hosting duties.
I’m glad the Tourism title is pushing through with a representation. It’s such a waste if Cindy won’t be given the chance to compete abroad, given that the girl is really hyped to wear the Philippine sash. 😉

So is the MTQI pageant still happening on October 10? I can’t find any news about it on the Official Website of Facebook page.
As of now, it should still be on.
Gosh Ara. As much as I support her I can’t help but admit she seems stuck. Her body looks better but her smile just is not convincing. She looks beautiful but not captivating like the other girls. Even Cindy who objectively is less physically attractive than Ara seems to be blooming. You can sense her energy and happiness from her pics. But with Ara it just seems like she’ s …well… just there. Not looking excited, looking pretty but not looking like she’s having fun.
I hope the pressure doesn’t get to her too much. Maybe if she is less focused on winning and more focused on just enjoying the experience more of her charm will shine through.

Oh my ! I’m getting a bit frustrated with the stale manner Ara’s handlers are transforming her with just two months to go. Wala pa talaga ng so called seize and capture moment aura fom Ara. Parang wall flower lang ang. Oo nga kasama diya with the other queens but walang katiting na captivating persona.in some angles she looks like Jewel Lobaton, a clapper at Miss Universe 1997. I’m hoping strategy lang nga ng BPCI itong mabagalgal na transformation with Ara and that the best is yet to one, but for now Medco alanganin ang chances ng Pilipinas na manalo or place in Top 5 or even as a semi finalist.
Re Cindy Miranda. Her chances of placing or winning are not that great in China considering the animosity China has right now with the Philippines over territorial issues.

Cindy looks ready already. Love her stance! Comparing Ara and Cindy, the latter looks much more prepared than Ara. But still crossing my fingers on Ara’s transformation come november.

Katrina is back in California and back in school. She has stated that she has no interest ( for now!) joining Miss World Philippines .

I’m happy for Cindy. Now I can’t help it but feel bad for Katrina Dimaranan. Looks like she’s totally being abandoned by the BPCI organization. Luv her spunk and that flawless dark kayumanggi beauty.
Right. I hope Katrina joins MWP next year.
