The name is Sancler Frantz Konzen. Not a very common identification for a Brazilian beauty queen. But this 21 year-old South American who represented Ilha Dos Lobos in the national finals of Miss World Brazil 2013 is more than just your typical tall blonde. Aside from earning her keep as a model, she is also a journalist. And this means that she can get very expressive, be it in spoken or penned thoughts.
Standing 1.76m, Sancler once represented her country in Miss Atlantic International back in 2011 and was so popular in that competition that she was elected Miss Internet. Back home, she can be seen on TV as host Journal of Pampa and Pampa TV news of Rio Grande do Sul.
I’m pretty sure this lady will give the other Miss World 2013 contenders some serious competition in Indonesia. And our Megan Young should keep an eye on her. 😉
Sancler strikes me as a beautiful woman who can think on her feet and speak her mind with spontaneity.
The Francis Libiran sketch of what Megan will allegedly wear in Indonesia.
The sketch on the left has been making the rounds of Facebook pages as what Miss World Philippines 2013 Megan Young will allegedly wear in Jakarta for Miss World 2013. Designed by Francis Libiran, it is supposed to be an embellished coral-colored evening gown.
First off, I want to reserve my final judgment on the design in the meantime. After all, it’s just a sketch. But if it certainly ends up as Megan’s competition gown, then I trust the finished product to look polished, tasteful and elegant onstage. While many of us prefer the blue Eric delos Santos number she wore during the national finals, there is something worth looking forward to with wearing a completely new formal outfit.
I still firmly believe that whatever we will see Megan wearing at the Sentul International Convention Center on finals night will wow everyone. 😉
What a sensuous-looking lady Michiko Tanaka is.
Michiko is more Miss Universe-molded, but Miss World will benefit from her participation.
Michiko Tanaka is giving me a Kurara Chibana vibe. And that should indicate something very positive. This 23 year-old Tokyo-based Japanese who measures 1.71m in height is quite a good dancer as can be seen in the video below. And I reckon this is the talent she will display in the related competition of Miss World 2013. Hip-hop it is. And for as long as she won’t not do any kind of twerking in her routine, everything should be fine.
Check out the video of her dance performance during one of the pre-pageant activities of Miss World 2013 Japan.

Michiko definitely represents the modern Japanese young woman. She is cool, hip, smoking hot and very vibrant.
Do you like her? 😉
Mutya and her now-infamous red orange attire
Yes, she won Miss Supranational Personality.
It’s a good thing her winning presence overshadowed the outdated styling of what she wore during the event.
And Mutya Datul seems to be getting the good breaks of late.
Let’s just hope that whatever other outfits are still left unworn in her luggage are the better stuff she brought to Minsk. 😉
Mutya's swimsuit turn in MS2013
Above are photos of Mutya Datul during the swimsuit presentation of Miss Supranational 2013 at the National Beauty School of Minsk. This is the same event where she was awarded Miss Supranational Personality by the judges present.
Just keep the positive streak coming, Mutya! 😉
Mutya's best shining moment so far!
Sweden, Philippines, Moldova and Puerto Rico make up the first recipients of Special Awards in MS2013.
And the battle has started.
Four special awards were handed out during an official pre-pageant activity of Miss Supranational 2013 at the National Beauty School in Minsk, where our very own Mutya Datul bagged the Miss Supranational Personality sash.
It was told that voting for the said citation was very close between her and Miss Myanmar. But in the end, it cannot be denied that Miss Philippines shines like a breath of fresh air everywhere she goes, especially during the individual presentations in swimsuits and evening gowns.
The other awardees are Sally Lindgren of Sweden for Miss Supranational Elegance, Valeria Donu of Moldova for Miss Supranational Top Model and Desiree del Rio of Puerto Rico for Miss Supranational Photogenic.
Way to go, Mutya! 😀
