While some readers might think that I’m sowing intrigue between the Miss Supranational 2013 entries of the Philippines and Thailand, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that the Asian focus has rested on them in the meantime (inspite of India sending a worthy rep as well).
With the memory of Miss Supranational 2012 (where both countries made it to the Top 5) still fresh in our minds, the question as to who is the better-looking candidate arises. Is it Thanyaporn Srisen who is almost always seen wearing that long black skirt allowing her to move with grace everywhere she goes? Or is it our very own Mutya Datul who strikes with an eternally smiling presence and disarms watchers with her natural glow?
For sure, Mutya is aiming for another Top 5 finish bettering Elaine Kay Moll’s 3rd Runner-Up placement last year, if not the crown itself. And Thanyaporn is dead-set on eclipsing the 1st Runner-Up spot of fellow Thai Nanthawan Wannachutha in Poland.
Who will outshine who in the end? 😉
