  1. I don’t know, I heard that many people were opposed to the fact that she has had obvious plastic-surgery (both breast and facial) while it’s not forbidden, typically those that win these competitions tend to look more natural. There are many pics online that show her pre-operation….there’s no denying she’s had work done but adding that to her older age…things were not looking good for her chances of winning. Best of luck to Adwoa!

  2. Sahar is unable to compete because she suffered an unexpected injury to her heel and is unable to walk without the aide of crutches. Adwoa is competing with the blessing of Sahar and the full support of the Beauties of Canada Organization.

  3. IT’S TRUE THEN, HER DETHRONEMENT WAS DUE TO HER AGE! SEEING HER PICTURES NEXT TO OTHER CANDIDATES, I THOUGH SHE WAS A CHAPERONE. BUT THEN I SAW HER SASH AND THE SUPER STRIPPER HIGH HEAT-SEEKING HEELS. I TRULY DOUBT SHE’S EVEN 27. SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE’S PUSHING 40. NOT THAT IT REALLY MATTERS. I DOUBT SHE’D HAVE MADE IT ANYWAY. ON THE ONE HAND, I THOUGH IT WAS GREAT THAT THE MISS U ORG GAVEHER A GREACEFUL EXIT BY MAKING HER A JUDGE. BUT THEN IT SMACKS OF AN UNJUST REWARD, NO?

  4. so sad about this news she was my bet to win the competiiton together with miss india who got dethroned! now going to look for another candidate to place my money on and hopefully nothing will happen to her that would make her not compete haha

    • You are such a witch!
it seems like every girl you foresee as a winner has a spell of dethronement.
Try to like Miss Philippines and you’ll be the beneficiary of my inherited witchcraft. hahaha

  5. Her first runner up is more appealing than her,,,exotic and with x-factor,.. Though I don’t feel that she’ll be in the semis, in my eyes I find her beautiful. She reminds me of Miss Trinidad Tobago-Universe 2004.

  6. Norman — Could Sahar’s age been a factor? She would have just been 26 had the pageant been held in July, but Sahar turned 27 this August. Technically, she still meets MU’s age requirement (be under 27 by February the year of the competition). But we all know MU does’nt look too kindly on those who have reached the ripe “old” age of 27. She may have decided that if she didn’t have a fair shot at winning because of her age, that it wasn’t going to be worth her while. Too bad because Sahar is one stunning Miss Canada and would’ve given the other girls a run for their money had the pageant been not delayed.

    • Glenn, I doubt very much if age was the culprit in Sahar’s no-go to MU. Blame it on her active voice in the hate campaign against pitbulls, as the reports would allegedly state. Being a dog lover, I can understand the petition for her not to represent Canada.
