Miss Earth Malaysia 2012 Deviyah Daranee
I was told that Kuala Lumpur-based Deviyah Daranee is an A-level student of Science who plans of becoming a successful Accountant in the future. This tall 21 year-old shouldn’t find that hard to achieve after her reign as ME Malaysia is completed. Right now, she is more focused on according her country an excellent representation in Miss Earth 2012.
Below, watch the video of one of her interviews on Malaysian TV.
What’s in store for Deviyah in Manila? Is there a good chance of her capturing Malaysia’s first Miss Earth crown?
Miss Earth Costa Rica 2012 Fabiana Granados
Fabiana Granados is a student aged 22 years, stands 5’7.5″ and measures 34-24-35. But enough of the statistics for now. This lovely Senorita from San Jose has that face that refreshes. And wouldn’t you want your Earth Ambassador to look like her? I love the way how she described Costa Rica in the Miss Earth website:
“…I come from a country without armies so the resources are used for education for kids. We are friendly with the environment since Costa Rica is called a Green Country. Costa Rica ranks fifth worldwide in the classification of the Environmental Performance Index 2012 and the first among the countries in the Americas.“
Fabiana could be one of the most unforgettable faces of Miss Earth 2012!
Is Fabiana destined to become Costa Rica’s first Miss Earth?
This is tough! I am slowly being drawn to the charm and allure of this Costa Rican eye candy. And I bet she has more to offer than the dozens upon dozens of online photographs I’ve seen of her. Fabiana raises my excitement level for Miss Earth 2012 even more! 😀
Miss Earth Guam 2012 Sarah Filush
Guam’s bet to Miss Earth 2012 is 24 year-old Sarah Borja Filush from Piti. A graduate of Harvest Christian Academy, she stands 165 cm. and won the right to represent the island after nailing the local competition held in Agana last June.
While she may be one of the shorter delegates expected to arrive in Manila soon, Sarah is not about to let her height get in the way of putting up a fine performance against the more glamazonic competitors, especially during the Miss Earth challenges where she is likely to rise to the occasion. 🙂
Miss Earth Singapore 2012 Phoebe Tan
Phoebe Tan, 24, is the Lion City’s representative in Miss Earth 2012. A Senior Sales Engineer, she decided to set aside her work first in favor of becoming Singapore’s Spokesperson for Mother Earth. She beams with pride knowing that she lives in a place where the thrust for a clean and green environment is of utmost importance. And this is where she will start establishing her platform once in Manila for the contest proper. Luck be with you, girl! 😉
Miss Earth Bahamas 2012 Brooke Maria Sherman
22 year-old Freeport native Brooke Maria Sherman is coming to Miss Earth 2012 proud with her achievement of finishing a Bachelor degree in Tourism Management from the College of the Bahamas just this year. And she wants to connect her academic learnings to the one environmental advocacy close to her heart – “Creating a culture of water preservation and conservation”. Knowing that this natural resource is as important as the life of every citizen in the islands, she wants to impart that other countries should take care in preserving its abundance so that the rewards of efficient water conservation leads to the good health of everyone.
Brooke Maria is Miss Earth Bahamas 2012, and mighty proud at that. She will give her total best in winning the crown she believes in. Good luck, girl! 😉
Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2012 Darli Arni Pacheco
Representing Toa Baja in ME Puerto Rico and winning Best in Swimsuit, Darli shines!
Darli Arni Pacheco is the tallest in this year’s line-up of Miss Earth 2012. Towering at 6’1″, she is almost head and shoulders above the average height of ladies vying for the crown in Manila. No stranger to the world of beauty pageants, she has had her share of triumphs and losses in the same. She joined Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2009 and could only reach the semi-finals. She also represented the islands in Miss International Beauty 2009. While she did not win this one, she reached Top 5 and snagged 3rd Runner-Up honors during the finals. In Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2011, she enlisted once more, reached Top 10 and won an award for Best Legs. But the best was yet to come when last August, she finally topped the Miss Earth Puerto Rico competition and earned for herself a return ticket to Manila as a result.
It won’t take 20/20 vision to spot Darli in a sea of beauties. Her extremely statuesque presence can never be ignored. The question is…can she stand out as well for her environmental advocacies? Can she step up to the plate once the challenges of Miss Earth come one after another? Will the elements be one with her as she attempts to become Puerto Rico’s first winner of the pageant? These questions will be answered starting November, so keep an eye on this glamazonic Latina! 😉
Miss Earth Kosovo 2012 Ajshe Babatinca
One of the youngest candidates in Miss Earth 2012 is 18 year-old student and fashion model Ajshe Babatinca. Coming from Prishtinë, she actually took part in Miss Universe Kosova 2012 (won by Diana Avdiu) where she wound up in the Top 5, thereby earning her the right to represent the country in Manila. Standing at 1.76m, she measures 35-25-37 and possesses a most youthful face (sans make-up) compared to most in this year’s line-up. Hopefully, this pretty teener has done her assignment well. With the extra demands of the environmental pageant earning precious points for the highly-prepared ones, she needs to be ready and able for everything.
‘Fat i mire, Ajshe!’ (Good luck, Ajshe!) 😉
