Calling out all the beautiful people out there!
Mercator Artist & Model Management Inc. will be holding an Open Day Go-See for prospective models on September 15, 2012 (a Saturday). Ready to test the waters and see if you’ve got what it takes to be groomed as the next face and body to grace important TVCs/print ads and the pages of glossy fashion magazines or glide your way to the ramp of high-profile fashion events? Then spruce yourself up and present yourself on the appointed date, put your best foot forward and brim with as much confidence to get noticed. Height will definitely be a factor for consideration, but a photographic face and body will have just as much weight. You can follow the footsteps of some of Mercator’s more popular models such as Carlo Sawit (of McDonald’s ‘Hooray for Today” TVC), Angelo Cacciatore (of Nescafe’ and other TVCs), Vanessa Matsunaga (of “Downy Passion” and countless others) and many more. Of course, you could also become the next hunk to experience back-to-back bookings for fashion assignments like Hideo Muraoka (for SM) or Akihiro Sato. And better yet, you might even be handpicked for training in cooperation with Aces & Queens as one of its bets for the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant, that is the Binibining Pilipinas.Whichever way you look at it, hooking up with Mercator Models is the best path you can take towards a career in modelling. So mark the date, September 15, from 9am-3pm at the 2nd Floor of Renaissance Bldg., Salcedo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City. Or if you want to enlist now to get a headstart, click HERE. 🙂
Norman…. Mr. World 2012 is back in it’s birthplace London, England in November. Is there a search for Mr. World-Philippines? Since the prestigious Mr.World 2012 is a month and half shy….
And hoping that we can have a Mr.World Philippines who is a resemblance of either Akihiro Sato or Hideo Muraoka.
Koala-San, it looks like there’s light at the end of the tunnel for Mr. World Philippines 2012! Cant spill the details yet but will blog about it next week. 🙂
No word on whether we will be represented in Mr. World 2012. When Miss World left BPCI, along with it went the Mr. World franchise. MWP Head Cory Quirino hasn’t been making any press release if she will take the Mr. World Philippines as well. 😦
wala man lang pilipinong pilipino sa mga sample photos
Ok kal, let me add one successful Mercator Model who is now in showbiz and 100% Pinoy 😉

Benjamin Alves
thanks norman
i think modelling agencies should cater more to filipino looking models than those more caucasian looking because filipinos should learn to love their own skin color or physical traits and this cannot be done unless the only race they keep on seeing on ads and magazines even those local ones are tainted with obvious caucasian traits. i’m not being a racist i just wish that flipinos would not have to feel that they are not beautiful because they do not have caucasian traits. just an opnion.
Point taken, Kal. That’s why the upcoming go-see is encouraging pure Pinoys to give it a shot.
