Another lady for your viewing consideration. Her name is Melanie Angeles, and she hails from the province of Bulacan (a provincemate of mine, just like last year’s Luzelle Felipe). The girl, who stands a tad taller than 5’8″, is all of 20 years old.
Just like the rest, Melanie is setting her sights on joining Binibining Pilipinas 2012, and is also deep into training with one of the country’s top beauty handlers.
I actually like her unsmiling in photographs. She exudes a more intriguing aura that way – a tinge of sensuality here and a dash of innocence there. A promising lass, I reckon. 🙂

I already have my favorites , BUT I’m impressed with Melanie. If judging by looks alone, I would rank her among the top tier. Like you, I prefer her unsmiling photograph (above) — is it the make-up or the hair or the angle of the shot? Anyway, I can’t wait to see the BBP 2012 batch — I have a feeling there’ll be a number of competitive candidates like Melanie and am relieved to know that there will be several candidates in the 5’8+ category (no Athena Imperials here…). I sure would hope Melanie will aspire to join again in case she doesn’t win one of the titles this year, as she is but only 20 years old.
