Mary Jean Lastimosa: 2nd-time luckier for Binibining Pilipinas 2012?

A 2nd Runner-Up finish in the annual Binibining Pilipinas ain’t bad. But if you’re someone like Mary Jean “MJ” Lastimosa, chances are that placing fifth is not a desirable option at all. The girl wants the crown, and she explicitly uttered this during her Q&A in Bb. Pilipinas 2011.

Now, should she finally decide to resign from her runner-up post and take the risk of re-joining Binibining Pilipinas, then we just might have another strong batch of ladies for 2012. Not an unusual move because Dianne Necio (who was 1st Runner-Up in 2010 and took part in 2011 where she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-International) went through the same route and came out successful.

MJ will always give me the vision of a woman with drop-dead curvaceous body. And she has still maintained that same whistle-bait figure up to now. Coupled with a little more good luck in her favor, will she finally come out a crowned winner in Binibining Pilipinas 2012?

I think yes. 😉

I am very please Davao’s Pride, gorgeous, whistlebait lass named Mary Jean ‘MJ’ Lastimosa join again in 2012 Bb.Pilipinas pageant and one of Top 30 Official Candidates.MJ was one of two Mindanaoans made it to Top 5 in Bb.Pilipinas’11 tilt(the other was from General Santos City’s Shamcey Supsup, current Miss Universe-Philippines and Miss Universe 3rd runner-up 2011 Title). Mary Jean Lastimosa was 2007 Mutya ng U.M.(University of Mindanao), 2008 Mutya ng Dabaw later joined with Fellow Mutyas across the Archipelago and the eventual winner as Reyna ng Aliwan held in Manila..As last year’s 2nd runner-up Bb.Pilipinas, she, Mary Jean, she has better chances in upcoming 2012 Bb.Pilipinas Pageant.   4. i really like this girl…… since joining BB. Philippians.. she’s my favorite at all, i was so frustrated when she got 5th place… but this time i will pray for her to get universe crown.

  5. Lara Quigaman is about as tall as MJ and she won Miss International . Perhaps MJ might, too.

  6. she’s too short to represent us internationally. her placement last year was the highest she could possibly get,on my opinion.

  8. I thought she should’ve placed higher at the BBP last year (International or Tourism title) so I hope she places this year. JUST CURIiOUS. How tall is MJ? Vital statistics weren’t posted on BBP’s website for last year’s candidates, and even the height info varied depending on the source (example: Shamcey’s height was listed variably from 5’7 to 5’8). From looking at her photos standing next to Shamcey, I would guess MJ is about just as tall.
