  1. I have been exploring for a little bit for any high quality articles or blog posts in this kind of house . Exploring in Yahoo I at last stumbled upon this website. Studying this info So i’m happy to exhibit that I’ve an incredibly just right uncanny feeling I came upon just what I needed. I so much for sure will make certain to do not overlook this web site and provides it a look on a continuing basis.

  2. what a good prediction….! but, as i know many finalists are predicted to enter the big 15, and most of them are from asia, and i know, Indonesia and Philippines are having many votes, and both of them convinced that they will enter……to big 15..

  3. this is my top 3.. philippines, greece, malaysia…. if philippines dont win.. its better greece will be ms.universe 2011,, philippines- first ,, malaysia 2nd,,, or other way around… a lot favor to china… not me,,, rumors she is groaming to be ms.universe 2011… ,,,hmmm?

  4. You missed to mention that Ms. Philippines is one of the smartest and talented among the contestatnts having graduated Magna Cum Laude and top the board exams for Architecture. She also had her first art (painting) exhibit when she was 15 years old.

  5. Very true indeed. What’s wrong with answering? This is your blog. Your opinion matters most here. Other blogs and sites failed to feed my enthusiam. I’ve never been this interested to this pageant but that changed when i saw your blog and your very beautiful shamcey . i think asians were the underdogs too but not this time. If shamcey wins tomorrow i will surely come and visit your country. Hope to see you too!

    • Hotaru, just keeping it safe because some of my insider infos might be too hot to show here. I always love sharing views and knowledge on things I am good at so it comes naturally I guess. But I will take you on that statement that you will visit the Philippines if Shamcey wins. Otherwise, visit just the same. I will take a little time off to tour you around. πŸ™‚

  6. Thanks norman for your thoughts. I didnt know that there is a certain number of slots per region? Did i get that right? You really raised a lot of questions for me. Haha like miss china’s vip treatment and grooming. I wanna know more! Lol You are really very well informed about this pageant stuff. Kudos to you bud.

    • Actually, the slot theory doesn’t apply among the Latin American/Caribbean delegates (where Miss Universe is huge & profitable) and the European beauties (who are favored by Donald Trump) who can dominate the semis, leaving the Asian and African ladies scrambling for token slots (like last year) or even shutout in some editions (like in 2009). It is only in 2011 where Asia has a strong fighting chance to take the reins for a change. Some may call it a novelty, I call it Latina overload. LOL!

  7. Thanks for the great comments Norman. You need to go work for GlobalBeauties. they really ned expert advice. they are so Bias.

    • Thanks for the compliment, Carlos. I don’t think GB needs a new person in their fold. Besides, it’s better going solo in this regard. πŸ˜‰

  8. Hi its me again. I’ve read some of your blogs, you speak like a true missosologist! Lol anyways, i couldnt find the article about ms.venezuela’s ‘surgeries’. Im waiting for ur top 5. Im just wondering about your thoughts about our maria kamiyama πŸ™‚

    • Hotaru, here is the link to the Vanessa Goncalves blog post:

About Maria, I like the girl. Her smile is always warm and heartfelt. She also moves in a more relaxed manner compared to previous Miss Japans whose ‘sharp’ trainings show in their moves. It’s just that this is a very strong year for Asians and the Miss Universe Org. can only give so much slots for the region in the semis. In fact, 3 (or 4 if Thailand gets the global fan vote) is already a lot as per previous pageant actuals.

But if I owned the pageant, I would allocate 5 slots to Asians in 2011, Maria included. πŸ˜‰

  9. I am crazy over Philippines, Malaysia, and China too….Philippines is way overdue to win since 1980 and 1999. I think the Oriental women have been way underrated. But Greece like previously mentioned is incredible…I too agree with Kosovo. But to see another Latin win would stink…..

  10. Great choices and very good reviews. I just wanna know if ms.venezuela really undergone cosmetic surgery? And why does african countries did not participate in this years pageant? Im looking forward for your reply. Your delegate Shamcey Supsup wowwed us. Very queenly! Domo arigato..

    • Kim, you should read my past blog about the Vanessa Goncalves Makeover. Look at her before and after pics. I’m not really sure why only 7 African nations joined this year.

  11. Wow. I’ve only seen the preliminaries thanks to the videos at YouTube. I am also predicting six ladies on your list: China, Philippines, Kosovo, Peru, Venezuela, Nicaragua.
