It has been said time and again that deep friendships are formed not just through the length of time that two individuals have been together, but also the quality of closeness achieved even in just a span of three weeks to a month.
Such is the case with Miss Universe 2011 roommates Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup and Miss Korea Jung So-ra. The two ladies have been almost inseparable except for the special events they have to attend with different batches. It is kind of ironic that the two ended up together under one hotel room for the entirety of the pageant. The Philippines and South Korea have been sharing a sort-of familial bond for many years now, owing to the heavy influx of Koreans residing and/or studying in the country.
And with So-ra’s sweet disposition and fluency in English (American English at that), Shamcey continues to communicate with her very smoothly, hence, their initial level of acquaintanceship graduating to more sisterly intimacy by now.
Whatever the outcome of the competition is, these two ladies will most definitely continue their friendship after Sao Paulo. 🙂
