The crown and scepter for the first-ever Miss World Philippines

Just a quick blog to share the photo of the crown and scepter which will be worn and held by the winner of Miss World Philippines 2011 (who will compete in Miss World 2011 come November). The designs do look regal and expensive-looking , right? And franchise holder Cory Quirino (photo, left) was simply beaming with pride after trying it on to see if it fits the head right.

Encrusted with ruby red and diamond crystals surrounded by hundreds of small gemstones, the crown is sure to catch anyone’s attention and make the wearer feel queen-like in an effortless manner.

On whose lucky girl’s head will this crown be placed for the first time?

Miss World Philippines 2011 will culminate in the national finals on September 18. The pageant is presented by CQ Global Quest, Inc. and SM Development Corporation, with co-presenters Smart Communications, GMA-7, BMW 7 Series, SM Supermalls, Etihad Airways (international), Philippine Airlines (domestic), AMA Computer University, Midas Hotel, Airgurus and the city of Puerto Princesa. 🙂

  1. sino po ang maker/s ng crown na ito? I hope the new franchisee will get to use this, assuming Ms. Quirino also turns this over to them. Thanks!

  2. nakita ko na to sa crowndesigners.com… sana man lang nagpa customized sila ng korona… parehas na lang sila ng binibining pilipinas… walang sariling identity ang crown… at take note… its not diamond… its rhinestones!!!
