Filipina supermodels are going great guns internationally. After Charo Ronquillo placed 2nd Runner-Up in the Supermodel of the World 2006, Charlene Almarvez surprised us with a 1st Runner-Up placement in the 2010 edition held in Brazil. And continuing with the ascent, Danica Flores Magpantay (daughter of Lala Flores, a former Supermodel of the Philippines) wowed everyone in New York and bested all international wannabes en route to winning Supermodel of the World 2011.
Now the time has come to welcome fresh new faces who want to make it big in the global modelling scene. Supermodel of the Philippines 2011 has arrived and the winner will represent the country in Ford Models’ 2012 competition.
