A few months back, I was able to watch the pilot episode of the new TV series “Glee” after downloading the same for free from iTunes. I wasn’t paying attention to it in my iPod until one rainy afternoon when I got stuck in the middle of a traffic on my way home. Well, what do you know, I enjoyed every bit of this new comedy from Fox and I wanted more. There’s the catch. The whole season will premiere in the fall and the pilot was released much earlier to whet the appetite of viewers – a stroke of genius from the producers, I must say.
The show revolves around a high school teacher (Matthew Morrison) who wants to put up a Glee Club but only ended signing up a bunch of misfits, save for two students (Lea Michele and Cory Monteith) whose singing talents soar above the rest. It would be interesting to see how these characters will pull it through to the state finals with several situations in between that will try to make and break the group. To top it all, the musical numbers will definitely spice up things and I daresay that it will be a hit among teens and adults alike.
