This is a belated post about the activity of the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens last Fathers’ Day when they personally appeared at the Gateway for ‘All-Out Freedom: A Celebration of Freedom and Father’s Day Back to Back’ followed by the Looking For Juan Art exhibit where the seven ladies got themselves caricatured by guest artists.
By the way, the artworks on exhibit – organized by Center for Art, New Ventures and Sustainable Development (CANVAS) – will run at the Gateway Activity Center up to June 21 (which is today) so you still have time to catch the same.

Aside from taking part in the “Gift of Smiles Philippines” activity for Operation Smile and appearance during the formal opening of the Uniqlo store at Gateway, the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens were also kept busy by various TV guestings during the past month till a couple of weeks back. Watch below.

Will Parul Shah start and end her reign without representing us overseas?
Will BPCI find a beauty competition for Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison to join abroad?
The spotlight may not go their direction as often as they would want the attention lingering in their midst. Take for example Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah. With the supposed affiliation of Miss Tourism Queen International with BPCI, she should have already prepared and left for China to take part in the former. But somehow, that prospect doesn’t seem to be shaping up in the immediate horizon (unless fresh developments in the last 24 hours will say otherwise). While there are countless other “Tourism” titles available, the organizers are careful in forging ties with just any foreign group with no impressive track record. It’s enough that MTQI is no longer giving out a prestigious vibe. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for Parul, though.
And as runners-up, both Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison could only hope for the best and pray that something more productive lands on their laps by way of a beauty contest fielding abroad. It could be a double-edged sword should something of the sort takes place, however. It will definitely prevent them from re-joining next year if a formal title is bestowed on their behalf. Just ask Elaine Kay Moll who was declared Miss Supranational Philippines in the middle of serving her 1st Runner-Up status back in 2012.
So how will the rest of their respective Binibini experiences unfold in the coming months ahead? Well, your guesses could just be as good as mine. ;-)
The Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens guest on TV5’s Good Morning Club with hosts Martin Andanar (far left) and Lourd de Vera (far right)
Just hours ago, our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens – MJ Lastimosa, Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti, Kris Tiffany Janson, Yvethe Santiago, Parul Shah, Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison – woke up very early for a before-sunrise call time at the TV5 studios to guest in the network’s wake-upper show Good Morning Club. Hosts Martin Andanar and Lourd de Vera had a nice time interviewing and chatting with the ladies.
And for a change, it’s cool to see the two runners-up with Parul and Yvethe taking the seats (with MJ, Bianca and Kris standing up) during the 2-on-7. :-)
Today, the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens visited Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City to speak before children of soldiers who are engaged in armed conflict far away from home or those injured during battle. Except for Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental Kris Tiffany Janson, all the ladies are accounted for.
It’s nice that this batch is slowly being exposed to different charity-related work to bring their individual consciousness closer to varying issues in society they need to be aware of. It helps widen their perspectives by getting a first-hand feel of the situations.
The Binibinis engaged in an open forum with kids of soldiers in battle.
Good job, Binibinis! ;-)

Something you may have forgotten to watch last Saturday night (April 26, 2014) on ABS-CBN was “The Bottomline with Boy Abunda” which had the seven (7) Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens – MUP2014 MJ Lastimosa, BPI2014 Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti, BPIc2014 Kris Tiffany Janson, BPS2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago, BPT2014 Parul Shah, 1st RU Laura Lehmann and 2nd RU Hannah Ruth Sison – as guests.
“What an amazing experience!! Thank you so much Tito Boy for sharing your advice and knowledge. It was such an honor to be graced by your wisdom. We learned so much!! Don’t forget to catch your #bbpilipinas winners, this week only on ABS-CBN!
And based on the Instagram post of Laura Lehmann (@laulehmann) above, all of them had a great time bonding and chatting with the prolific host. They even learned a significant thing or two that would be useful in international pageants.
Let’s wait for the full video to be uploaded on YouTube or you can try this LINK. I didn’t catch the whole thing myself, but I like the near tail-end portions I was able to watch. ;-)

Earlier in the day, the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens spent time with the children-beneficiaries who are part of BPCI’s Outreach Program as they give back to the little ones by giving them school supplies and stuff plus yummy Dairy Queen treats. Apart from that, they made them happy by showing what it is like to be big sisters.
MJ Lastimosa, Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti, Kris Tiffany Janson, Yvethe Santiago, Parul Shah, Laura Lehmann and Hannah Sison bonded, took group selfies and had fun chatting with everyone.
