Laura Lehmann, the courtside reporter
You all know by now that Bb. Pilipinas 2014 1st Runner-Up Laura Victoria Lehmann is a Courtside Reporter of the Ateneo Blue Eagles in UAAP Season 77. Want to see her non-beauty queen side while hamming it up with the boys of The Bro Show? Then watch the video below.

During the recently-concluded International Franchise Expo 2014 at the SMX Convention Center, the Araneta Center booth definitely had the most gorgeous representatives with the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens taking time out from their busy schedules to man the space for a good hour or two. And what a refreshing sight it must have been to see these ladies effortlessly promoting Araneta Center. ;-)

During Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013
Ednornance Agustin. The first name alone is enough for quick recall, although Eds is easier on the memory.
I have always had this fondness for the beautiful Davaoeña. I started noticing her during Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013. But it was only as Binibini 25 in Bb. Pilipinas 2014 that I began to appreciate her looks and aura. She easily stood out despite the tough competition thrown in by the eventual winners. And when she decided to take a slightly different route by joining a model search like Bodyshots Philippines 2014, I was so dead sure that she already found her niche. Her face and projection was never lost on the judges and organizers that she became a hot favorite going into the finals. That is, until Vina Openiano stepped in and the title slipped from her grasp. But she gave it such a good fight that she must have scored a close second in the ultimate tally.
Even if top-level success seemed to be elusive for Eds, I still believe that she can make bigger strides as a fashion and photographic model. Her stints during the last Philippine Fashion Week can attest to that.

So will Eds’ journey stop here or does she need to look further and see if there is still something greater in store for her? If the answer is yes, then I will continue to support her next bid. ;-)

Bb. Pilipinas 2014 2nd Runner-Up Hannah Ruth Sison is one dutiful Binibini. Even without the promise (even a possibility) of being fielded in an international pageant, she is keeping up with the responsibilities of her placement. And for a level-headed individual like her, this is the right way to get into the good grace of people at BPCI. A cooperative winner will always be welcome. And if she continues with the right attitude (and I know she will), there could be a shining light at the end of the tunnel (or her reign, if you will). ;-)
Five of the 7 Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens (L-R): Kris Janson, Bianca Guidotti, MJ Lastimosa, Parul Shah and Hannah Sison visited the offices of the Philippine Daily Inquirer for an interview.
The Queens with their “guyitos”
The other day, our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens (minus Yvethe Santiago who was in Legazpi City and Laura Lehmann who was in school
) trooped to the offices of Philippine Daily Inquirer for a group interview with some of the media reporters and professionals of the well-respected newspaper. It was a fun talk where questions thrown veered away from very serious subject matters and focused more on their individual personalities, lifestyle and plans during their respective reigns. Photo ops galore followed but not after they were given their complimentary “guyito” stuffed toys (the Inquirer’s mascot

Jeslyn Santos promoting the search for Reyna ng Bulacan 2014
While the image above shows Binibini 32 Jeslyn Santos from Bb. Pilipinas 2014 heralding the search for Reyna ng Bulacan 2014, it will still be remembered that she is the reigning Reyna ng Bulacan World 2013 and was originally tasked to represent the province in Miss World Philippines 2014. But given the long months of wait, she screened for and fortunately got in the bigger nationals last February-March.
The experience during Bb. Pilipinas 2014 may not have been fruitful in terms of a crown, but it definitely yielded a wealth of training and polishing that should allow her to move on to Miss World Philippines 2014 with more confidence and grace. The question is, will the House of JDV enter her name for the latter?
I have a strong hunch we’ll see Jeslyn queuing for Ms. Cory Quirino’s pageant towards the end of this month. ;-)
