Our Queens pledged their hands to save lives!
Yesterday was Global Handwashing Day. And at the Mandaluyong Elementary School, five of our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens – MJ Lastimosa, Bianca Guidotti, Yvethe Santiago, Parul Shah and Hannah Sison
– continued their big sister roles as they demonstrated to the children how to properly wash their hands to make sure they are 100% clean so as to avoid disease-causing germs and the like. Along with Unilever Philippines and actor/endorser Jericho Rosales, they all went happily throughout the whole event.
Check out some of the pictures below. :-D

Long after the John Legend concert was over, our Queens still had John Legend music playing in their service vehicle!

And you thought beauty queens cannot behave like fangirls? Think again. All our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 titleholders are on a John Legend hangover after watching his “All Of Me World Concert Tour” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Thursday night. And they can’t seem to get enough of the charismatic and oh-so-wonderful singer. They’ve been playing his music cd over and over again. And I don’t blame them. The guy is such a gifted performer, that even the most picky of music lovers will give him two thumbs up. ;-)

Our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens during the Lactacyd launch
uploaded their latest videos on YouTube.
The first one is a promo of the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens where their TVC “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall” spots (made by ABS-CBN) prior to the finals last summer were edited to show just the seven (7) ladies.
In the second video, the Queens are shown backstage with the popular David Blaine with his magician-friends while performing an impromptu card trick that amazed the ladies to no end.
Watch their reactions towards the end of the clip. ;-)
The eleven (11) Kagandahang Flores bets for Miss World Philippines 2014
This has been quite the victorious year for Kagandahang Flores.
The top crown streak was started by Bb. Pilipinas when Mary Jean “MJ” Lastimosa clinched the Miss Universe Philippines title. Therafter, Jamie Herrell followed suit by landing the Miss Philippines Earth win. And to continue the winning spree, Eva Psychee Patalinjug got elected as Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International.
And just to achieve the Grand Slam target for 2014, the beauty camp is hoping and wishing that they can capture the last major national title, that is Miss World Philippines. On the shoulders of eleven (11) ladies – Lorraine Kendrickson, Rachel Peters, Gazini Ganados, Alexa Kirby, Nelda Ibe, Kristine Estoque, Priscilla Kimberly dela Cruz, Ina Dominica Guerrero, Ruffa Nava, Ranielah Marie Oval and Kimberly Anne Sarreal – rests the golden opportunity of realizing the dream.
Kagandahang Flores already has Miss Universe Philippines 2014, Miss Philippines Earth 2014 and Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International 2014 in the bag. Will Miss World Philippines 2014 complete the harvest?
Will one of the KF bets fulfill the mission for Rodgil Flores and his team?
It sure would make them the happiest beauty trainers this side of the globe. ;-)

There has never been a better time for our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens to get real close and sisterly with each other than now.
One by one, they will head off to their respective pageant assignments (at least four of them) starting next month with Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental Kris Tiffany Janson leaving for Jordan on October 5. After her, Bb. Pilipinas International Bianca Guidotti will head to Tokyo on October 25 – right on the same day that a Miss Intercontinental will be crowned. A few weeks later, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational Yvethe Marie Santiago will get her date with destiny as she embarks on a much-awaited trip to Poland to gun for a back-to-back victory in Krynica-Zdrój. And for the pièce de résistance, Miss Universe Philippines MJ Lastimosa will be sent-off (to a still unknown destination) in an almost date-overlapping fashion for Miss Universe 2014 by mid-November as well.
In all of these, our Queens will have each other’s back as moral and emotional support. Individually, their targets are zeroed in on claiming victory abroad. As a group, their mission is united – to be the most successful Bb. Pilipinas batch of winners. :-D
Our Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens got their VIP Tour of Ayala Museum yesterday
An exhibit inside the Ayala Museum
And you thought only the Official Candidates of Misters of the Philippines 2014 got their taste of culture yesterday? Well, well, well. The Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens also had theirs. At the Ayala Museum. And a VIP Tour befitting royalty at that.
It’s always fun to visit this place because it evokes memories of my high school days. But more than that, the Ayala Museum is a shining testament to our heritage and preserved culture.
You should try dropping by one of these days. The new look and interiors look awesome. :-)
