Miss World 2013 Megan Young is in All Access mode now. But before you start wondering what that means, let me just say that it is the catchphrase in her latest TV commercial for Security Bank, courtesy of PC&V Communications. And considering the continuity of her endorsement for the said bank, she must really be doing a fine job in being its face on TV and Print Ads. Actually, she goes well with the new look and feel of all Security Bank branches nationwide.
Our Queen, who continues to sizzle as ‘MariMar’ every week nights on GMA-7, continues to look as beautiful as the day she won the blue crown in Bali, Indonesia more than two years ago.

Left-to-right: Mylene, Irene, Celina and Almira make up 4th Impact
Mylene, Irene, Celina and Almira Cercado may sound like just ordinary names to you. But these Filipina sisters make up the group 4th Impact that is currently making waves in The X Factor UK. And they continue to make Filipinos all around the globe very proud.
After being named of the three (3) group finalists in the show, an article by Amy Duncan on Metro UK has this to say about the peg the group is going for.
According to Little Mix, X Factor girl group 4th Impact want to basically be Little Mix.
The foursome from the Philippines are one of three groups in the live shows after being picked by groups mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
And according to British girlband Little Mix, who became the first group to win the talent contest in 2011, they are modelling themselves on them.
‘Our hairdresser at the moment is working on X Factor and he said that when he was doing 4th Impact they just kept requesting our album to be played and they wanted to look like us in their makeover,’ Jesy Nelson said.
‘They’re so cute and I’m really excited to meet them.’
Watch now the video of their Week 1 performance on the live show of The X Factor UK.

A new career on TV is making Patricia more popular among the masses
Patricia Tumulak, Eat Bulaga’s HBD Girl
Patricia Tumulak has beautifully moved on. She is done with pageantry – be it Bb. Pilipinas or her withdrawn participation in Miss Multiverse. She is now on TV and how. Her popularity is gradually soaring. Thanks in big part to her becoming the HBD (Happy Birthday) girl of the long-time hit noontime show “Eat Bulaga” on GMA-7. She is capturing the heart of the masses and is in fact being regularly thrown in the company of the famous Yaya Dub (or Maine Mendoza) who shares the same March 3 birthdate with her.
Methinks she will really find her niche on the small screen. And hosting fits her well.

Miss World 2013 Megan Young on the cover of the October issue of Speed Magazine
Megan as MariMar with the dog Pulgoso
On the cover of the October issue of Speed Magazine is Miss World 2013 Megan Young who is experiencing an excellent resurgence in her TV career because of the good ratings of her teleserye “MariMar”, alongside the countless appearances she has been getting in shows of GMA-7 which is currently going into phenomenal popularity by the day because of the Aldub craze that translates into extra attention for all its contract artists.
It’s only going to get stronger for Megan, career-wise. Methinks she will be in the lead status for the long haul, even after the scheduled finish of her show mid-December. Everything is going to be upswing for our Queen! :-)
Neil and lead star Ryzza Mae Dizon
Tomorrow late morning just before the start of GMA-7’s noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga”, a new teleserye
will start airing, and it will be the very-first one for Mister International 2014 Neil Perez. It is entitled “Princess in the Palace” starring child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon, Aiza Seguerra and Ms. Eula Valdez. In it, our dashing “Pambansang Kuya
” will play the role of a Presidential Security Group (PSG) Officer detailed to protect the (fictitious
) Lady President of the Philippines.
This is a whole new experience for Neil, even if he already did some TV guestings on weekly drama episodes of shows on TV5 prior. At first, he had some struggles adjusting to the long taping hours, but it was never really daunting. He adjusted quite easily and now, he will see the final results of his efforts.

Shamcey Supsup (leftmost) with co-hosts Giselle Sanchez (middle) and Christine Jacob
Yesterday afternoon, a new show premiered on CNN Philippines featuring Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-Up Shamcey Supsup-Lee together with Giselle Sanchez and Christine Jacob. It’s called “Real Talk” and it tackles various women’s issues on a different level.
In this Inquirer.net article, she stated that ““We really try to elevate the conversation when it comes to women’s issues. We try to cover both ends of the spectrum when it comes to talking about topics concerning women—from common interests like fashion and beauty to more serious issues like feminism and women’s rights.”
Try to catch an episode one of these afternoons and see if our Queen has the potentials of becoming a more in-demand talk show host. ;-)
“Real Talk” airs on CNN Philippines weekdays at 4:00PM.
