To all my dear readers, loyal readers, followers and friends, let me just share my unbridled happiness after being named “Pinoy Blog Newsmaker of 2012” by The Entertainment Lifestyle.

2012 had been a very fulfilling year, not just for me but for the Philippine pageant world. With good news coming in one after another, it definitely gave me the push to do better and make sure that every single visit you make to my blog is worth the time and internet space. I hope that 2013 will give us more exciting developments – be it pageant-related or otherwise – all around.

Special mention goes to my friends and colleagues at OPMB Worldwide, my beloved pageant group that has been a constant ally since 2009 when I started blogging.

  4. congratulations Norman! Not only does this site feed my pageant passion (that’s my Filipino heritage via my mom’s side), it also makes me feel safe; I can express my opinions without fear of some troll (and there are many of them on pageant Facebook groups) succeeding in ticking me off.

  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Well deserved! You are our Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss World rolled up into one!!! This site is by far the best blog site, bar none (and that includes being better than all “those others” that pretend to be “discussion groups” and they turn out to be argumentative and nasty. Without naming names, we know which ones they are – ugh!). This is a wonderful place to be. A wonderful place to feel Pinoy Pride without going overboard to the point of being blind. It’s an informative, well put together, well written site and open to all opinions. Above it all, it’s Filipino and that puts a BIG smile on face and warms my heart. CONGRATULATIONS NORMAN!!!!!!!!!!

    • Wow! Thank you so much, Philip! Your superlatives are making me blush, but I’m also sharing this win with all of you. A pageant blog is nothing without its valued readers. The daily writing exercise may not come easy all the time, but loving what I do makes it all the more self-actualizing. So if you’ll excuse me, let me give one more hand wave and a 360 degree flying kiss to everyone! :-D
