Not your usual beauty pageant applicant, Amanda Navasero is.
Amanda Navasero is atypical of the usual beauty pageant enlister. She filed her application form for Bb. Pilipinas 2013 with the lightest of make-up and hastily pony-tailed hair. Her simple outfit consisted of a black halter top matched with drawstring pants plus flats that made her look even shorter than her actual 5`6″ frame. Completing the look is an ethnic-inspired sling bag traversing her upper torso.
There’s really nothing wrong here. It’s just that photographers are always on standby alert at Gateway for ladies applying for the pageant. Snapshots will be taken in an instant, without giving the subjects time to fix themselves up. And given this scenario, Amanda was caught in her practically barest mode. Regardless, her nice facial features and unadorned get-up were appreciated even more. Imagine how she will look like after being transformed by a team of hair and make-up specialists. She may not have that va-va-voom aura in play, but I’m sure she will come across as a naturally attractive 21 year-old who wants to know if she has what it takes to become Bb. Pilipinas.
Will big dreams for a simple girl come true?
