Charmaine Elima: Miss Rizal 2012 could be wishing upon a Bb. Pilipinas star.
Last year, Miss Rizal 2011 Liezl Alcantara was a dark horse to win one of the titles. In fact, she was favored by the judges, up until the dreaded Q&A which she handled in a somewhat embarrassing manner (actually, it wasn’t as worse than what was seen by the live audience since a reshoot was made). This year, her successor – Charmaine Elima – could hopefully do better.
Maine, as fondly called by friends, is a winner of the Generation East 2012 competition at Sta. Lucia Mall. Her relative popularity in Rizal soared after that. She eventually joined and won Miss Rizal 2012. And now, she is being eyed as possible Bb. Pilipinas 2013 Official Candidate. How far will this 5’8″ Pinay carry her bid for a crown? Well, with this year’s anticipated line-up, the journey won’t be on smooth pavement. But regardless, the experience will always be worth the time spent. So there. 
Too many beautiful aspirants vying for only two titles, how sad.
This girl is the one to watch, her face is universal.

I can see and feel the potential in her the first time I saw her pics. Unmistakably, she has the aura of a Bb. Pilipinas winner. Yes, everything– her color, jawline, hair. height, posture and those eyes, I see fierceness in those eyes same with Janine’s. What I’m worried about is what between her ears but having won a local title already says something. My instinct tells me to put her in my lists of favorites (although no assurance if these ladies would push through). So far my list includes Charmaine, Pia Romero, Charo Ronquillo, lady from Samar.

I’m afraid you got one info wrong – Maine is only 5 6 1/2 ft. tall. I really don’t want people to be disappointed about her height when the candidates are all lined up with one another.

She has the quality of being Bb. Pilipinas Universe, a face that launch a thousand ships, ala Miriam Quiambao and Janine Tugonon. I bet for her if she will join the contest this year.

My first impression is that she is someone worth taking a second , third, and fourth look at. She has a great foundation to work with. With some grooming, styles changes, and body contouring, she really could go far. God I hope that didn’t sound pretentious!!! She is beautiful…

Norman — Wow. Charmaine looks like she’s going to be one of the candidates to beat this year. Her elegant and beautiful face, an exquisite jawline, exotic complexion and an alluring figure at 5’8″ easily puts her near the top of my personal list of candidates to win one of the major titles. Albeit a minor one, the only distraction — at least I find it so because it pulls my sight away from her alluring eyes — is the beauty mark on her forehead. Other than that she has a near-perfect face.
