Merry Joyce (middle and the most statuesque) stands tall among the winners of Reyna ng Bulacan 2012.
Your blogger is a proud Bulakenyo.
So it is with pride that I present to you my province’s representative for Bb. Pilipinas 2013. Enter Merry Joyce Respicio.
The 18 year-old lass hails from Bocaue. Tall at 5’11″, she outlasted all comers when she was picked Grand Winner of Reyna ng Bulacan 2012 as well as Binibining Bulacan 2012 (she succeeded Ali Forbes who went on to win 2nd Runner-Up in BBP2012). I know that she may still look raw and unpolished to some, but let’s see what wonders she can do…i.e., if she qualifies as one of the Official Candidates this year.

I think her father is Ilokanio from Cagayan
does anyone know more details about her, i am from united states and i am also a respicio and my family here in america are wondering who her parents are ? does she speak english?
MJ is a native of Bulacan, the town of Bocaue to be exact. If your folks take root from that place, there’s a good possibility of consanguinity. She can speak English, maybe not as fluent, but good enough for conversational purposes.
I too am from Bulacan and proud that a gorgeous young lady is representing. I think she’s absolutely beautiful! She has beautiful features, a hot body and very tall! I think she’ll make the cut and hopefully she’ll win a title… maybe Miss Philippines Universe 2013??? With the training she’ll receive if she wins, she may just conquer!
Thank you for using the photo Of MJ which i shot.
You’re welcome, Marco Borromeo! Sorry for not crediting you properly. I wanted to get the full name of the one who did the shot.
Thats fine, I dont mind really. Thank you, btw i did the headshot where shes wearing a floral top.

now, this one i like. malakas ang dating. pwedeng ihilera sa 3 previous queens.
has potential… striking features and good proportions.
She’s very pretty. Hopefully, she’s not as dumb as Ali Forbes (pronnounced FORVS, according to Ali herself)
At least Ali is not an IDIOT like you..who is a certified disappointment to your parents.
And you think you can do better?
With all the time in the world, you can’t even type the word “pronounced” correctly. Can you survive a 30 second QNA without fainting?
Hi Norman, Do you ahve any updates on Luzelle? She’s also from Bulacan right? I still remember her from 2011.
Norman and Asian — Yes. The 2011 batch certainly was a memorable one. As I recall, that batch was pretty competitive (ie., Diana Arevalo, Luzelle Felipe, Jenroe Gubat, Patricia Tumulak, MJ Lastimosa, etc. come to mind). I wonder how many of them are planning on re-competing in 2013?
The last time I heard, Luzelle is being eyed for Bb. Pilipinas 2014.
Norman — Thanks for the info. Well I guess we’ll all have to wait another year (darn!) to see what Luzelle and her team have in store for us.
Kuyang, ang ganda nating mga bulakenya ay hindi basta basta mauubos!
Pero ang laing at daing namin ni Janine ay konting konti na lang!
I saw her in person, Joyce is such a stunner.
She has a Danica Magpantay aura.
I hope that if ever she’ll join, BBPU will be her title.
I don’t want to see her in mediocre pageant even in Miss International.
It’s Miss Universe for her or nothing!
That’s the spirit, Basil!
Honestly maraming magaganda from bulacan pero lagwak sila sa q&a, they should work on that
She definitely has a lot of things going for her — youth, beauty, stature — at only 18 she could compete now in BBP and get her feet wet, or invest her time say a year or two and further transform herself into a pageant goddess in 2014 or 2015. Definitely a find with great potential.
WOW! What a beauty!!! Yet another Mary/Maria/Marie/Miriam (Merry) connection! (or am I pushing it?)
