  1. Congrats to Rizzini! She’s glowing during the finals and she totally deserved the crown! What a great way to end the year for the Philippine pageantry and a great start as well for our country. I am hoping that this year would be our country’s time to clinch our 3rd MsU crown, 5th MI crown and first blue crown! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

  4. Glenn – it’s still 2012 here too. I’m getting the pellet stove ready to fire up and enjoy the snow around me and thank God I’m not out in it (yet)! I’ll be lighting candles before Midnight (as is custom in my family) and at Midnight say a prayer for my family, my friends, and The Philippines. This year, I’ll add Norman and you in those prayers. 🙂 Have a safe holiday my friend!!!

  5. Glenn, regardless of when it occurred (Asian time zone or whatever time zone we’re in) it was a good way to end the year and a great way to start the new year! 🙂 Let’s pray that The Philippines good fortune in beauty pageants continues throughout 2013 and even gets better!!! Happy New Year to everyone!!!

    • Philip — Thanks. (It’s still 2012 on my side of the planet — U.S. Eastern) And a Happy New Year to you as well!

  6. Ooops: correction — I meant to say “The Philippines truly ended its 2012 pageant year with a bang.” I’m getting ahead of myself here… OR unless the pageant was held January 1, in which case I should have said “The Philippines truly started its 2013 pageant year with a bang.” : )

  7. The Philippines truly ended its 2013 pageant year with a bang. My heartfelt Congratulations to Rizzini! Frankly, I’m a lot happier with these results more than I did with that Asean thing earlier.

So Norman, what’s your inside scoop on how Rizzini clinched her international title?

    • Wasn’t able to watch the live streaming, but from what I heard, she did very well in all areas of competition and stood out in their individual pitches for tourism. 🙂
